Hornady Varmint Express .22 Hornet 35gr V-MAX 25/Box delivers straight-line trajectories, enhanced accuracy, dramatic expansion, less wind drift and explosive fragmentation at a wide range of distances and velocities. The Hornady V-Max bullet features a polymer tip and streamlined design which aides in flat trajectories, while the concentricity of the match grade AMP bullet jacket provides maximum accuracy at all ranges as well as explosive expansion, even at velocities as low as 1600 fps. The hollow cavity of the V-Max bullet sits between the bullet tip's shaft and the body of the bullet. Upon impact, the hard shaft builds up speed and energy before driving into the core, causing the entire package to rapidly expand to the point of violent fragmentation, even at low terminal velocities. This ammunition delivers accuracy, increased range, flatter trajectory, less wind drift and devastating terminal ballistics. This ammunition is built for hunting varmint sized game (less than 50 lbs), including coyotes and prairie dogs. This ammunition is new production, and non-corrosive.
